First a note regarding last week's post. I received many queries wanting to know why I endorsed a third party candidate in the U.S. Presidential election. Simply, there is no viable third party candidate in this election, and as the previous post stated, Pluto demands a viable candidate - one without eccentricity and Eris, as noted below, wants someone who is not divisive. Last week, as we clearly witnessed, both Clinton and Trump endured transits from Mars and Jupiter to their natal Eris. Nothing like amplified agitation to bring out the best in a person. And more to the point, as astrologers and consciousness seekers, valuing philosophical and spiritual freedoms and those curious about viable alternatives for the progress of our planet and it's preservation to meet the desires of Makemake - big fan of correcting climate change, there is only one choice...
So onto the show. As we celebrate Mercury aligning with Jupiter and all the transit goodies detailed in last week’s post falling into place, including Saturn inching closer to the Great Attractor, there’s even more happening out there... and more that promises that when unbridled creativity is released, you can ride it to the golden ring.
In the category of longstanding transits, we are continuing to embrace the Uranus and Eris alignment in Aries. This transit has been woefully played out in the Presidential election here in the U.S., in international relations, and with contentious leaders all over the globe puffing up chests and uttering impulsive, inflammatory statements... from Putin to Assad to Un to Duterte. The gist of Uranus and Eris in Aries is not to start a revolution, skulk about as an unconscious exclusion-motivated malcontent, or to activate any disruptive or confrontational forces. However, when Eris caused the Trojan War back in her day, she was not going for the gist, and her whole apple antic seems to have permeated our mythology and stuck to today's cultural standards (or lack thereof). Let’s go for a retooling of the transit.
One extremely relevant note about Eris: She came to our attention when she did because one group of astronomers hacked and probed the online data of other astronomers - the actual folks who first brought Eris to light, and the hacker astronomers prepared to take credit for her discovery.
Eris, when working with the god’s god, Jupiter/Zeus, participated in creating perspective for a saner political world, and a tension reducing agenda for inclusion of all; exclusion of none. Soon we will enjoy a collective Jupiter to Eris transit set to anticipate that seek to soothe political tensions. Anticipation of the first soothing transit lasts until January 19 when Jupiter aligns with Eris through the opposition - Libra to Aries. Both planets are direct. Then, on February 23 the transit repeats, though this time Jupiter moves retrograde; Eris travels direct. The last of the transit trilogy occurs on September 9 with Jupiter direct, opposing Eris retrograde.
Each of these transits, despite whatever political/international bluster may be in the winds, serves to stabilize. It will be important to avoid any Aries impetuousness and keep an eye on the long-term diplomatic end game and observe where Jupiter holds his cards. He holds the final vote and veto power too.
We, as occupants of Earth, are bombarded by the bombastic bluster of political leaders and threats of dictators. It’s tough to deal with. Here in the U.S. is anyone tired of the election cycle? If you live in Japan are you hoping China will take a position on North Korea? It's hard to know who fights ISIS in Syria and why. What’s a person to do to maintain tranquility in these tumultuous times other than tuning out? Pisces, courtesy of Neptune, points out that sticking ones head in the sand tends to create unintended vulnerabilities.
Here's some help. This week (the 15th) the Sun aligns with Haumea in Libra, the Hawaiian fertility goddess who birthed other Hawaiian deity. Throughout the unbelievably important Eris-Uranus conjunction, remarkably overlooked, thus inciting Eris, the opposition of Haumea to Eris and Uranus also in play, has been ignored even more. So as the Sun meets Haumea, it’s time to get clear, conscious and proactive by ones own self regarding full personal activation of this amazing dwarf planet and what she offers.
Haumea represents creativity in the max, whether conjuring up the world, other deity or taking care of the people. She held the _makalei_ stick, which when placed in the water, summoned fish to feed the people. More to astrological points, her perihelion is in Aries; her node holds court in Leo. These heliocentric points trine one another, reenforcing intrinsic creative flow. Her most-distant point from the Sun is early in Libra aligned with the Super-Galactic Center, recently visited by the Jupiter and the transit of the Sun-Earth axis, Libra to Aries. Hence, more support for the invocation of the presently unfolding creative essence to honor recent inner, ingenious stirring.
With her creativity Haumea inspires personal innovation and excellence in ingenuity, leading to “look what I created!” proclamations. There’s no boasting about it. If you created something amazing, it is amazing. And in accord with Haumea’s highest intent, your creation may benefit all the people. Since Haumea sparks the inner lava of Aries and Leo, she knows how to brand innovation, invention and creative output. When branded, it’s singular, unique and if all goes well, trending.
Because of branding, every creative task one implements stands as pure representation of that person regardless of competition, imitation products and knock-offs. In fact, on a good day Haumea knows there is no competition. It doesn’t matter what anyone else does. All that matters is that you, as a creative individual, flourish in manifesting each and every Creator-sanctioned gift.
Creativity is the answer to chaos in life and the world. During the time of creative inspiration and implementation calm surrounds the creative being and soothes the aura. A timelessness allows for exceptional productivity to birth amazing results in a remarkably short interval. In the creative zone perspective can be restored, belief in self reaffirmed, and the seeds of ones talent bear delicious fruit.
Creativity provides a clear antidote to the sensation of exclusion or being left behind in life. Locating and honing the unique talents, skills, attributes, creative urges and putting them out there in life, create the one and only perception: I am the one and only me, possessing a horoscope that is singular within 25,860 (whatever the exact number is) years that constitute one full cycle of precession of the equinox. Actually, a horoscope remains unique within the precession cycle and the complete period of galactic rotation some 250 million years. As well, the horoscope stands out as one of a kind throughout the entirety of the cycle of the galaxy around the Super-Galactic Center... an era that would be incomprehensible to define.
So, this week as the Sun aligns with Haumea, an open window to escalating creativity exists. The transit is for all to enjoy and excludes no one. Those who savor the inspirations will no doubt feel a burning fervor to create. As creations manifest and as conscious attention (again the Sun) considers what has been conjured, a sense of fullness, accomplishment and formidability flood the psyche and infuse the soul.
